I probably say this every month, but the past month really has gone by quickly!!
It’s lovely to be back in Oz this month, seeing family.. and soon seeing friends… I’ve got my quilting group Christmas breakup on the weekend and hoping to see Shez next Monday at craft 🙂 So a few things to look forward to!
I’ve brought some projects to work on and of course I have a bunch of UFOs that I need to look at and see if I can work on before the end of the year… in the meantime I haven’t actually finished any ufos, but someone finished one for me!!
My dear friend Robyn walked in the other morning with a pile of aprons and other bits and pieces, and said some of them were my ufos!!! Remember me talking about inheriting UFOs? Obviously I can’t remember, but I must have dumped some of mine on Robyn 🙂
When she showed me this apron, I had a vague recollection of starting it and abandoning it…..
There was a reason I gave up on it.. and now I remember Robyn saying she’d finish it… it turned out quite nicely, didn’t it?
I can’t count it as a finish for me… but at least I have a pic to share today!
So, as you can see from the table, I have not and most likely will not, reach my UFO goal for this year… but I have finished 42 so far, so that isn’t shabby! I am hoping I’ll get a few more done in December… let’s see!!
How about you? Have you finished a UFO or finished blocks for any quilt you are working on? Either will count as participating in Finishing Stitches… Just link up below…
Please link to a POST, not to your website, so that we can see the projects that you have been working on. If you have already posted about what you have made for the challenge this month, then link to that post. If you haven’t written about it yet, then write a new post and link to that one. Does that make sense?! I hope so! If not, just ask!
Hi Joy I am looking forward to seeing you on Monday ,oh poor you with all those UFO s and I think you finishing 42 is fantastic, well done 💋
Well, I’ve definitely no actual finishes, but hopefully next year I’ll make some headway. It was good talking to you on Tuesday & definitely catch up again before you head back. Take care.
I finished a total of zero! It is so very sad. What is even sadder–I have a pile of purple gingham cut out for that same apron. 2018?????? The year of not starting anything new?????????????
Hi Joy, it’s scary that it’s almost time to take my annual inventory of UFO’s…. the year has gone by so quick… I managed a few more blocks this month…
Hugz
Well done on 42 finishes! I could take a leaf out of your book for sure.
Stay safe and dry through the next day or two! xx
You’ve done really well finishing UFOs.
I’ve had some finishes this year, but I’m not sure that I’ve managed to finished a single project that was from my list of UFOs. Next year! 🙂
