Remember the snowball quilts?
One of them, Garion’s, all done and in use:
Doesn’t he look as snug as a bug in a rug?! Thankfully it fit in the suitcase (ummm.. extra suitcase) and flew back to Perth with the rest of the family. Alice and I had a lovely week sewing and stitching, and even got a little bit of crocheting in on the last night. Now it is back to communicating by emails and messenger….
So, that is two quilts done this month! I’m so pleased! I will have to start tackling Daniel’s soon, but I want to put some borders on stitcheries before that. I’ll post photos as soon as I get that done.
Wow, I am so impressed! I have looked over your quilts and they are beautiful!
Thanks Mama Hen!! I am getting there…!!!
You’re on a real roll Joy. I’m going to investigate the machine quilting class at the quilt shop. I’ll never get my quilts quilted otherwise, and I’m too stingy and control-freakish to hand my quilts over to someone else to do. Besides, then it wouldn’t be my work. See…control freak LOL.
I’m with you Tracy. I am too tight to send off my quilts and then I figure I haven’t really made them myself. Instead I need to just practice, practice, practice!!! I have “in-the-ditch” pretty much under control, but it is going to take a long time till I am happy with my free motion quilting …..sigh!
