Yay!!! I worked hard yesterday and today and I have finished two more projects for the Christmas challenge, which means.. I am done!!! I am soooo pleased I joined the challenge because I wouldn’t have done any of these projects this month otherwise. Thanks Di!!!The quilt has been waiting for almost two years to be finished. I have wanted to do an apron with this fabric for more than two years, and I’ve wanted to try one of these little baskets. So, without further ado, here are the next two projects. (I should have waited for daylight to take the photos, but I was too excited, sorry!)
The apron – I bought a bolt of this fabric from the souk, and made heaps of stockings from it:
The basket – made from leftover fabric from the stockings I made for my sister and her family last year:
Tra la la laaaa… It’s startin’ to look a lot like Christmas… oh, and I need to make another basket since I accidentaly made two handles 🙂 Pity that, eh?
Hi Joy–your Christmas projects look so cute and you did a great job, I am sooo proud of you for doing the challenge and then sticking to it–I believe you are the first to finish, and you will be rewarded for that–be sure to send me your address by email–dlcquilter3@gmail.com so I can see what Santa might have ready–it will be the end of the month before anything gets sent out, as I need to see what the others may do yet, too!!! and Santa has had some family here this week and he is updating his computer skills and a dozen other things–so –hey, maybe I could hire you for one of his helpers???? have a great day–take care, hugs, just, Di
My you have been busy Joy! So are you all ready for Xmas now?? Much more organised than I am in terms of making gifts! I have done a pretty good job of buying some so far 🙂 Is that cheating??
Yvonne
