Kaasstengels
500 g Plain Flour
500 g grated tasty cheese ( I just use no-name) (works better if you grate it yourself)
250g butter
a few tablespoons of water if needed
Mix all ingredients together in food processor until it forms a ball. If needed, you can add a bit of water to help it all stick together.
Make into balls or strips and bake in 200C oven until golden.
Tracy asked me for this recipe and I thought I’d post it because it is yummy, yummy, yummy 🙂 For my US readers, they are of course cookies, not biscuits 🙂 Elizabeth was just asking me if she could make some this week while the boys are away – you know, when the cats are away, the mice will play – or in this case eat yummies!
you have been a very, very, very busy girl today. I think I have to try those little goodies. So are you done with Cameron's quilt yet? Hee hee hee.
Nearly done …. 🙂
Joy the biscuits look very good (I think I can smell them all the way here) …now if someone would just come to my house and cook for me…you and Elizabeth enjoy…hugs
Thank you so much Joy. I can already taste them!
