All Blocked Up…

My nose…. my ears… my head…. all blocked up… All I can say is that I am glad it is this week and not next – still gives me time to get better before I go in to hospital.
So, instead of madly sewing on UFO’s I have been resting – which is probably a good thing. I have started another pair of Mippers, and been doing some crocheting….. and a whole lot of web surfing 🙂
Since I have no sewing to share, I will share some of my surfing news. Oh! Before I forget, I won something! From Becky at Patchwork Posse! Yay! I won one of these cute needle keepers:
I wonder if I will get the pink one or the blue? I don’t mind because they are my two favorite colors 🙂 Stacy is getting one as well! Go check her blog Pink Berry Sprinkles out – she is doing a giveaway at the moment. Don’t you just love the name of her blog? I have to admit, mine is sooooo very boring. One day I will have to change it…
In the meantime, pop over to my dd’s blog Beth’s Bits and Bobs. She has finished yet another rag doll. She has been working on this for months, trying to get it just right so that she can make up a pattern for it. It is her own design:
Any volunteers to test the pattern once it is written up? Just email me 🙂
I think there are a few more ufo finishes out there, but I’ll keep them for another post. It is bedtime… and I must sleep… I am just going to leave you with this:
So sorry you are not feeling well enough to sew. Cute needle books. That lil gal of yours is very talented! Sweet doll she has made. I am trying to do a few things so maybe I can sew this afternoon. Well between popping back in this chair that is…;-)
Off to hang out wash.
Get well soon.
Hugs,
Lola
Feel better soon! I've never been a pattern tester but maybe I could give it a go! Those people sure were lucky…the last one was too funny! Thanks for sharing! :0)
You're lucky and they're lucky–well except for the sick. I hope you are feeling better so you can sew!!! L,A-
I KNOW I didn't share my germs with you!!!!! I hope you're back on your feet as quickly as I have been. Lots of chicken soup, vitamin C and rest for you! And might I suggest some Little House on the Prairie or Anne of Green Gables? It worked for me!
I also highly recommend the Kleenex aloe vera tissues. I don't care what Mum says, the Quilton and Aldi brands just really aren't as good! Not when you use a tissue every 30 seconds.
Get well!
Hope you're feeling better REALLY soon. Your daughter's doll is so cute. I'll have to check out her blog
I just got to view your video–how cute especially that last scene with the bank robbers–gave me a nice "laugh" thanks–did make it over to DD site–how cute–she is great–give her a big hug for me–
hug to you too-Di
