Ok, so which BOMS have I decided to do this year? Well, thankfully there are not too many that I am going to attempt, although some more I am saving in case I suddenly have a lot of time on my hands… hahahaha!
The first one I really wanted to do is more of a stitch-along:
It’s the Dresden Plate Club from Bunny Hill Designs. I’ve always wanted to do a Dresden Plate quilt, and I know I have a ruler somewhere…… so when I saw this on Di’s blog, I thought, I must join up!
Now I haven’t started sewing yet, but I did find some fabric I want to make it with. It’s a pack of fat 1/8ths from Connecting Threads called Sweet Rememberance Dawn:
I’m not sure it if will be enough, maybe my quilt will be smaller, but I think the fabrics are really pretty and it should look nice. Now to find the ruler….
I love Jenny’s new Promises and Borders BOM…. haven’t started it yet either, but I think I will….
hey, maybe I should change this post to:
“BOMS I want to do but may never get around to starting….”
And the third one I really think I should do is the cute Country Cottages one from Shabby Fabrics….
….. because it is just toooooo cute! Ok, haven’t started this one yet either, but I must!
Ok, consider this blog post title officially changed to the one above…. and I will let you know IF and WHEN I start any of these 🙂
They are all really cute BOMs Joy. Hoping you have the chance to work on at least one of them. But save them away and they will be there waiting for you whenever you want to work on them. Your fabric looks perfect for the dresden plates.
Catchy new title–can I borrow it sometime????
Where are those extra hours I ordered?
I love the BOMs that are around and you have chosen some lovely ones to do this year????
the fabrics for the dresdens are beautiful…… have fun…

Oh so hard to pick only a few!
I’m off to check out the Country Cottage one … hadn’t seen it before.
Lovely fabrics for the dresden plates 🙂
