Yes I am still around, just been caught up with the busy side of life… Yes I have done a little bit of sewing… 🙂 Not much, I must admit, but tonight I got a chance to sit and do some more strings. I’ve been trying to make a picnic rug and I think I’ve finally got it big enough. I laid it out on the dining room floor to see:
Yep looking good – Ameera is helping me work out the size, but, oh dear, there is a bump in the corner….
Hmmm… an orange ear is poking out there…. I wonder who that is? Here comes Callie to check it out:
So I am guessing that if Callie and Ameera are on the top, then Tiana is under:
Peekaboo!!!
Oh man, there she goes again:
Yep, she’s gone…. I wonder what is so fascinating about the back of the quilt…
Oh well, I’ll just relax next to her on top of the quilt instead:
I’m thinking, if it turns out to be too small for a picnic rug, then at least I know the cats will have fun playing with it 🙂
Awwwww–I need to make this litter their own quilt to play with.
Or to picnic on.
So cute and the quilt is pretty too!!
love the string quilt and it is so funny to watch the cats in it…. they think people make quilts for them…

Me thinks you need to start another quilt top for your picnic rug–
me thinks the kitties have ‘adopted’ this one!!!!
Happy to hear from you —

It’s so pretty! And how wonderful that the cats like it too! :0)
Lovely to see you post..cats just make laying quilts out on the floor so much fun, the quilt looks lovely, cheers Vickie
Yes I think you may have to make another one for your picnic use. Cute cats have laid claim to this one! Kitty Strings is it’s new name. 😉
Hugs,
Lola
If your cats are anything like my cats they have a way of getting into or onto anything you don’t want them too! The quilt is so pretty. It reminds me of my grandmother’s crazy quilts.
I like your quilt inspectors, and I like your string quilt – I’ve made many of them – it’s my favourite quilt design!
