‘Tis an amazing thing. I can actually tick something off my to do list and it is only early in the month! Last night I sewed my first two scrappy stars together, and I really like them.
As I was cutting the background pieces, I decided to cut some extra while I was at it, so now I have a nice little pile prepared for next month. How O..O….O…..Organized is that?!
Callie’s court case was hit with a possible setback, with new evidence presented by the prosecution this morning. The presiding judge (The Hon DH) has rejected the jury’s initial verdict of “innocent” in light of the following photo that narrowly missed showing her trying to destroy these other wires above a bookshelf:
Callie’s defence lawyer (DD), says the new evidence is further proof that Callie is a law abiding cat whose main goal in life is to fix all the wires in the house, and the defence team is not at all worried. “She’s so cute,” says DD as she gazes fondly at the photo of Callie. The Hon DH however, when asked for a comment, said “Off with her head”. The trial continues.
I just finished another redwork house and will try to take a photo tomorrow…. for now it is bedtime….
Love your scrappy blocks Joy, I think Callie is maybe starting to take risk taking a bit seriously????
Hugz
Lovey bright stars and well done on forward preparation.
I await Callie’s verdict and hope her cute face will win the day 🙂
Your scrappy stars look great! And good for you getting them done so early in the month! :0)
Pretty stars–shhhhhh–I think I am going to do some really scrappy ones too.
Callie needs to lie low for awhile I think. Some wires bite back.
I still say she is innocent!
I believe that Callie is showing you where another ‘kitty’ has been bad and is protecting the wires from becoming any more damaged!!!!!!!!!!!
Love your star blocks–you and Alice are going to get me making them yet??
Hugs,di and miss gracie
Love your star blocks. I used to have a kitty who ate plastic. She ate all the feet and hands off my DD’s Barbie dolls. I was always afraid she would chew through a wire and the wire would bite back.
I really like your stars. You got me inspired to join in, so I signed up, too. But I’ll stay out of the whole Callie issue. 🙂
