It’s cold…. very cold… so cold that up north they had snow:
That’s not a sight you see everyday. Pity it wasn’t near us, because I just looooove snow!
However, it still got pretty cold here over the weekend. I even dragged my Mippers out and started to wear them around the house:
Do you like the pattern on the tiles? This house is full of snazzy patterns – floors, ceilings and cornices:
Not too over the top though that we can’t live with it thank goodness. I guess living here for so long we have gotten used to the decorations. Back in Oz we wouldn’t choose anything like this for our houses.
Back to the weather, hubby went camping on the weekend and it got to about zero C overnight… glad I was snug as a bug in a rug back home with my Mippers and quilts 🙂
What’s the weather like where you are?
I would never have guessed it would snow over there! I learn something new every day! :o)
oh my goodness… I never think of it getting cold there…. we are still hot hot…. muggy so I hope there is some rain about….
Hugz
We had a hot weekend. My sewing room got to 35 and 36 degrees. But last night we got some much needed rain. This morning our grass has turned from dead brown to tinges of green – it doesnt take much. But without followup rain it will soon be back to brown.
The snow looks gorgeous. I wouldnt have liked camping in that temp. either – you ad the better option.
Cool pic! I have my sort of mippers on–mine are not quite as furry, but my toes are warm.
You are going to have to plan a quilt around some of those patterns.
Oh Joy–it is to be very very cold here for the week–like ‘0’–with the wind chill factor–
I do have to do some running around tomorrow–sure hope I don’t freeze in my tracks!!!
had wanted to go overtown too–like to cuddle with Odie–but might not make that–
glad you are keeping warm–
hugs, di and miss gracie
Wow! I love your snow picture.
I had to click back to see what mippers were … they gave me a good chuckle but they look wonderfully warm 🙂
Here in the northern U.S. we just got about 6 inches of snow, wind, and below 0 temperatures with the windchill. I’m thankful for my woodstove, coffee, and tea in my cozy home.
wow I’ve never really tyhought about it getting cold over there…I can’t wait to see snow again..hopefully next year if all plans go well.oh yes some intricate detailing there for sure…………cheers Vickie
