It’s been ages since I last blogged I know, but seems just like yesterday because things have been pretty hectic the past month or so. We arrived in Oz just over two weeks ago to get DS settled in to Uni. He started on Monday and seems to be doing fine… DH left tonight to go back home, but the kids and I are here a little longer still.
I haven’t done much sewing as you can imagine, however thanks to some forward planning (amazing!) did manage to get the bag done for SAL:
Sorry the photo is not great….. but can you see that the stitchery is PURPLE? And behind the yellow ric-rac is PURPLE fabric? And some of the flowers are PURPLE? (you need to click on it three or four times to be able to see the color!) Hmmm… who do we know in blogland who likes PURPLE I wonder…  Alice you don’t need to worry about doing this one, I’ll be popping it in a parcel soon and sending it your way 🙂 It’s a little early for your birthday, but, better than late, right? Oh, and Wendy, looks like I did manage to make something for the Birthday Love Stash after all!! Yay!
I also I finished this water bottle cover made of wool for Di’s challenge:
Didn’t think I would make it, but I did… phew!! I had actually planned something else, but ran out of time. Hopefully I’ll still manage it later in the year…
Got lots more news, but will have to wait for another day because it is bedtime… catch you all later,
A belated welcome back to Aus. for your visit. So pleased your son is settling in to uni. Your bag looks very nice, it will make someone very happy at birthday time.
Enjoy the rest of your time here.
Hugs xx
