‘Tis an amazing thing – I have managed to make one item for Di’s next challenge already 🙂 Last week I had a few sewing days with friends, including one where I made an apron!
All done:
Oh, and I had a sudden thought – do these count too, Di?
Seven jars of yummy strawberry jam 🙂 Anyone who wants to try some can come on over!
Hopefully I’ll still get to make some more kitchen items. Alice and I were discussing making some potholders… we really need to have a skype sew one of these days… Anyone else made something for Di’s challenge yet?
Cute apron! I have my idea for Di’s challenge – does that count? Ooh, I just this minute had a second idea – and I could probably finish it today. Yippee! You’ve inspired me……
Sweet apron! YUMM…yes will be right over for some jam and scones! Put the kettle on! Pot holders are quick and easy. DH needs some new ones too.
I love the apron–and they are on my list along with pot holders, towels and ……
but so far–I have not even started one–good thing I gave us each 2 months for each challenge–I did give us 2 months didn’t I??????
seem to have gotten caught up in the mini quilts and tote bag phase this month–
along with spring counted cross stitching and knitting and I am still working on some felt
projects!!!!! I cut out and prepped alot of wool projects last March and then it got too hot to
work with wool–so that is why I am trying to get some more done–and these are spring items too–sooooo–that’s my excuse and I am sticking to it!!!!
love, di and miss gracie–still want that black kitten!!!
very cute!!! i want some jam–yummy!
great apron…. I’m sure the jars of jam would count.. definitely kitcheny…

Very cute apron! I’ve gotten into making aprons lately, too. Could you please email me? I got a wonderfully cheery package from you a couple of days ago & would love to give proper thanks, but I’ve lost your email address and don’t have your snail mail address. Thanks so much for thinking of me and being so kind!
I just posted about an apron finish and got to use some of the lovely flowers you sent me. 🙂
Hi Joy,
Love your cute apron. Looks like you’ve been
busily crafting away.
Cheers, Anita.
