Today I actually finished some blocks for my two Jelly Roll ufo’s:
I have four more of each to do still….
My friend Yvonne spent the day with me working on a wedding quilt for her son, made up of Dear Jane blocks. This is how many she has finished so far:
Yvonne’s blocks are just a tad smaller than mine – mine being 12 1/2″ and hers are… 4 1/2″… just a tad 🙂
I have to say, I am very impressed with people who make Dear Jane quilts… and I don’t think I’ll be making one anytime soon!!!
Love the blocks!! Need to un-Earth mine. And Yvonne is very ambitious. That maybe an understatement. Have fun!
your blocks look great.. yes I feel the same about dear jane quilts… don’t know that I will ever try it but they are stunning….

I really admire Dear Jane quilts, but I know there will never be one in my life!!
Your blocks are looking good. A Dear Jane for a wedding quilt is an incredible amount of work. I have done a few Dear Jane blocks but think it will never be fully finished. After a bit I can always join up what I have done into a mini table runner or something like that. lol.
them blocks are looking great-the top sure is going to be nice and cheeeeery lookin gand warm…cheers vickie
I lov the Dear Jane. Funny, I just recieved my Dear Jane blocks book. Probably wont start it for a few years yet, too many UFO to finish first.

Nice blocks. I especially like the lower two that look like a weaving.
