First of all, my apologies if I haven’t replied to your comments on my last posts – something went wrong with my email program, and I have no idea who I replied to or not! It seems back to normal now, so hopefully it will stay that way! Don’t you just love technology – when it works!
I was so pleased I manged to join in on FNSI after such a long break, but I didn’t actually get much done, lol! I decided to celebrate my new sewing studio and return to the quilting life by starting a new project. I had come across this tutorial for a cute zipper pouch, and thought I would give it a go.
I grabbed my 2 1/2″ squares tub and got this far:
So the front is pieced and quilted, now I need to do the rest!! I thought I’d get a chance to keep working on it during the week, but I’ve been busy with moving things into my new sewing studio and also getting organized for the arrival of my DH tomorrow, who is coming from Arabia for a three week visit! We’re all pretty excited!
I know he is looking forward to a break from work, but I am not sure how he will cope with going from the 50C heat to our 11C Ballarat forecast tomorrow!
I’d better head for bed… got to get up early to be at the airport 🙂
How wonderful DH being home for a while, but the cold will certainly be a shock to the system. Look forward to seeing pics of studio and seeing the machine up and running too. Take care.
Cold–not here that is for sure–was very humid here so far today–did not even enjoy my time on the dock–usually it is cooler down there and bit of breeze–but not today–!!
love and laughter, di
Enjoy time with the hubby! You’ll find time to sew after he goes back to the heat.
