It’s been a busy week and not much sewing on UFOs sadly. I did finish one 100 patch and am half way through another:
…but other than that not much sewing done.
I had to go in to Melbourne one day to do some visa stuff, and then I spent a fair bit of time in my studio sorting things out for a sale I’m having tomorrow afternoon. As many of you know I had a shop in Arabia and brought all the leftovers back with me. I am trying to sell off as much as I can so hence the sale tomorrow:
It’s been good to keep sorting things so that I can pack it all up again (LOL), but at least it will be packed in an organized manner rather than just dumped like it was last time.
Susan and her hubby came today to help chop down a tree that fell on the back fence a few weeks ago in a storm. Just before that a friend delivered two mowers to me, and they tried to help get the chainsaw going for Susan’s hubby:
One “mower” is called Snowy and I forgot the other so I named it Brownie (just as imaginative as Snowy). The little mowing machines are handy because they also fertilize as they go 🙂 You see my grass is just growing out of control at the moment so I sent out a call for help… they are very cute don’t you think?
So that’s all the show and tell for today. It’s late and I’m off to bed….
Have a lovely weekend everyone!
I just love Snowy and Browny, so cute and helpful too! I wish you well with your sale tomorrow!! Have a fantastic weekend!!
I can’t believe how organized you are–but then you have the space to it —
and I know that helps–I was just thinking today that 2 of my closets look messy–wonder who messed them up–so need to do something about that!!
good luck with the sale–
love and laughter, di
It was a good yesterday & we got it done quicker than I thought. I went home with studio envy. I was calling the little brown pony Cadbury (giggle). See you tomorrow. Lawns need mowing today & we’ll go down & book our tickets for the train. Have a good day with the girls and a great sale. Actually I’ll get some of those pins from you & some cards, but I’ll ring later. Thanks.
good work on the UFO’s and I love your lawn mowers! I love a sale so maybe it’s lucky I don’t live too close! haha. HOpe it all goes well, there is a lot of planning on a big move
Hugz
I like your “mowers.” When I had an acre and a quarter, I had two sheep that kept the grass manageable. Living lawnmowers are always much more fun. If I lived anywhere near you, I’d look you up for that sale. Good thing for my wallet that I am far away 🙂
