Another week gone by, but I have been productive!
Last Monday at craft I was working on UFOs. I had four 10 min table runners that just needed a few more seams, so i finished them off:
I also worked on a Christmas Star. I had started to piece the blocks, and they just needed to be sewn together into a top:
I decided not to put a border on it because I think I will use it as a table topper rather than a quilt, so it’s next destination will be to Emmie G… who by the way is up and running:
I was up late last night playing with her… then I broke three needles in a row and decided to call it quits 🙂
And now it is time to go to craft again…. will try hard to post again before next Monday!
Woo Hoo!! Well done! I need to finish a whole project. Blocks are nice, but they don’t make great gifts. Must channel my inner Joy and get something done. Now for figuring out which one that might be.
Looks like a lot of good things going on. Is Emmie G a Gammill? I had the Premier for ten years and quilted a lot, but none for me – not one!
Hi Joy it was so good to catch up with you today, love your table runners, what a buggar with the needles xx
table runner looking good do they only take you 10 mins to make? Star looks good too and liking the quilt on the long arm it must make quilting so much easier than a domestic machine once you get the hang of it
Yes these runners are easy and make great gifts! love the star. looks like you are enjoying productive time ‘home’!
Good to see you post, and glad you are getting some sewing done, but hope you sort out the broken needle issue, doesn’t sound good.
Lots of time spent at craft and stitching! Sounds like you’re having fun!!
the runners look great… and that’s 4 UFO’s done! Love the big star. How annoying with the needles – I would have given up and gone to bed too…
