I went to craft again on Monday, the last time I’ll be there this trip, and had a lovely time as usual. Shez was there with this gorgeous bag:
Still lots of socks being made…
I didn’t quite get to attempting socks again… ran out of time, what a pity!!! Next year maybe 🙂
Sherrael was still knitting hats…
Love the look of hand written patterns, don’t you?
Sue was working on her hexies…
And I got an impromptu lesson on how to make a 10 stitch blanket from Robyn…
After all that fun we had even more at the local cafe for lunch… There were some new handmade items up for sale…
Isn’t the clown gorgeous?
Whoever made it is selling it for $100… which really isn’t that much considering all the work that has gone into it, don’t you think?
Then there was this little guy… and some strange ladies behind him…
I had my usual hot chocolate and worked on one of Elizabeth’s new designs:
And would you believe it, Shez and I ordered at different times and both ordered the same thing again!
I think I enjoyed these Chicken Snitzel Burgers more than the Lasange last time…
All in all it was a great day, but sad to say goodbye to such lovely ladies again…. On a positive note, this time next week I’ll see my man again 🙂
In other news I’m still shuffling packing and UFOs around… more on that soon!
Safe travels my friend it was a lovely day and i will keep you up to date with what the girls are making, lol think we are twins xx
All the best with your travels, enjoy the heat over there. Elizabeth’s new design looks lovely, pity I don’t do hand work. Catch ya when you come home again I hope.
so much variety here loving the bag with embroidery on, have just made 8 small ones myself for a charity stall. Socks seem to be the in thing these days not tried them myself as I have to wear elastic stockings . safe flight back to DH
Looks like a fabulous day Joy. Safe travels. Hugs,xx
Lots being achieved & I’m sure you’ll be missed & vice versa, though on the other side of that, people are waiting in Arabia too. Happy packing & take care.
Looks like a fun day!! Everyone is so talented. That little hippo (or whatever ever critter he is) is really cute.
Packing suitcases takes quite a bit of talent too!! Maybe you can finally rest on the plane!
Your sure get around, don’t you. It was nice to see all the different projects that everyone is working on. Thanks for sharing!!
You’ll miss all the fun with your friends. I hope you have a group of sewing friends in Arabia too. Talk to you on the other side (of the world that is). 🙂
Can’t believe it’s time to go again……….
