  1. The yarn is beautiful Joy. I’m thinking it would look lovely crotcheted into cushions, centre table piece, mandala. Lucy from Attic 24 has lovely stitch patterns that could be used. I couldn’t see the ply or composition of the ply, how about starting on your first pair of socks. Christine from Winwick Mum has free tutorials for different ply socks. Just some ideas. Can’t wait to see what you decide to do. Xx

  2. Ohh–that lemon tart looks right up my alley–Alice and I will be over next week and we can all go for a treat (wouldn’t dare come without Alice!!)
That yarn is so pretty too-pillows–would be nice–if it is really hot there–but it it is chilly–then a nice lap quilt would work!!!!
Will be waiting to see if you like the rulers!!!
    enjoy, di

  3. What a fun day. Now, I am not sure what was prettier–all those goodies or that lemon tart. Drool!!!! That yarn is really pretty. Can’t wait to see what you come up with.

  4. I soooooo need to go to that shop! pity I’m not planning an overseas trip any time soon. Hmmmm, maybe just as well actually, I wouldn’t be anywhere near as restrained as you, I would need to take an empty case so I could fill it to the brim with all those lovely treasures. Happy sewing.

  5. Oh, and not forgetting I’d have to fill my tummy with some of those lemon tarts! You really are a wicked girl Joy!

  6. It certainly has everything except fabric. My first rulers (large rectangular & sqaure), were both Sew Easy & are still in use today. Makes them about, approximately 25 years old. Love the yarn & will it be cushions, as you were talking about matching your decorating. Have a good week & take care.
