Thought I’d just share a few more odds and ends from New York…
After we went to Gotham Quilts, we were close to Macy’s again, so thought we’d just walk in to “The World’s Largest Store”…. it was big, but we didn’t look at it all because it was also very busy 🙂
It reminded me of Myers in Melbourne – they had a special Spring theme going on called “Once Upon a Springtime”…
Starting with a window display…
As I said, reminded me of the Myer window…
Inside, however, was more… Lots of beautiful arches full of flowers greeted us…
And other arrangements…
Since the theme was fairy tales, there was a story to follow…
There were heaps of people of course, and I can just imagine it would have been especially magical for the children…
Yep there’s a bunny up there….
I could have taken hundreds of pictures…
But I didn’t… and we didn’t go past the first floor either, it was so busy!
Glad we wandered in though…
How lovely to see the displays at Macy’s. Hugs, xx
I’ve just had a good catch up read of your adventures – wow you really are seeing lots and doing plenty! And a wide range of things, from visiting memorials to sewing with friends!
The photos you took are lovely.. I wouldn’t like to be amongst such a huge crowd either.
I don’t love crowds, but we usually pop into Macy’s for a quick look around. And oftentimes, just before Christmas when it’s a total Madhouse!!
Now you’re making me want to go there, except for the crowds.
