Welcome to the first day of the Fabulous Freebies Blog Hop hosted by the lovely Joan from MooseStash Quilting!
As you might imagine from the name, this blog hop is all about sharing free online patterns and tutorials! I am really looking forward to seeing what everyone has in store for us this week!
Free Cat Embroidery Pattern
My Freebie for you today is our brand new stitchery pattern called “Just Hanging Around”:
It’s another one of Elizabeth’s designs, that I finished stitching a while ago… I think it’s pretty cute and would look nice in a wall hanging perhaps….
I also have some tutorials here on the site that you might enjoy… and I thought I’d share my top 3 favorites with you here today…
Favorite tutorial #1
Little Teabag Pouches
These have to be my all time favorite little pouches to make because they are soooo quick and easy! They are great for little last minute gifts, or even make them ahead of time to have ready to give away… and if you have friends who don’t drink tea, you can also put coffee bags in them 🙂
Using the same tutorial you can also make these cute Christmas pouches:
Favorite tutorial #2
Fabric Christmas Crackers
Continuing with the Christmas theme, these Fabric Christmas Crackers are also real quick to make…
I think these would be great to hand out as gifts at Christmas Guild meetings or such… each with little sewing items and even some fabric stuffed in them 🙂
Favorite tutorial #3
Lavender Turnovers
Another quick and easy one, these lavender turnovers only need charm squares and fresh or dried lavender….
The lavender turnovers are nice to pop in between your clothes or under your pillow at night…
And that is it from me folks! Hope you enjoy these free tutorials and don’t forget to download the free pattern!
Thank you Joan for hosting this fun blog hop!

Oh, I’ve been so busy, I almost missed this adorable cat! Thanks to you and to Elizabeth. It will definitely look cute with a border of some of my leftover cat fabrics when I finish Happy Go Lucky!
