Welcome to Day 25 of 31 Days of Getting Organized!
When I was at the hairdresser’s a couple of weeks ago, I got trolley envy…. What is trolley envy you might ask? Well, it’s when you see someone else with a cool trolley and you want one too.. in this case the hairdresser’s:
Now how cool would that be to put sewing stuff in?! This one even has a little stool to sit on (not sure why you’d want to sit on a sewing trolley, but that is not the point):
I was contemplating a trip down to the hairdressing wholesale souk (market), but then I told myself to be content with what I had.. which is this lovely Ikea trolley:
Let me tell you I just love this trolley! It can even be taken apart and put in a suitcase to take home from Holland:
Yes, DD loves it so much that there was no way it was getting left behind in Holland like the orange bucket….
As you can see, I need to sort my trolley out… it has become a dumping ground for sewing stuff. I didn’t quite get there today, but tomorrow I will tackle it and show you the results…
Does anyone else have one of these trolleys? (I know Chookyblue has one!)
Oh, and if my hairdresser did have an extra one of those trolleys with cool drawers in it, and offered it to me.. I wouldn’t say no – would you?!
I need one beside my lounge chair 😁😁
I have a blue trolley from Aldi & it sits beside my lounge chair. The top tray holds my sewing caddy, glues, threads, & thread conditioner. 2nd tray holds projects i’m working on, bobbin trays & other necessary notions, 3rd tray holds my DMC boxes. I have one in my bedroom which didn’t come from Aldi & it has become my dumping ground. It really needs sorting to. Not today though as temps will be nearly 40 degrees. :(. Hugs,xx
Thanks for spreading the trolley envy! How cool is that!
Great idea but sadly I do t have room in the Cave for a trolley…
absolutely anything that holds stuff is useful to a crafter…. alas I have no trolley!
Hugz
I, too, have no trolley though I can see how it would be very useful…and…when you need a little pick-me-up activity in the midst of your sewing you could just step on it and skate around the room a little till you’re ready to get back at the sewing. I see now that I really need one!
How I would love one of those! But my sewing space is jam-packed full at the moment. If only I could get rid of a no-longer-useful-and-probably-never-was pullout couch!
I can see how well the trolley works for you….I’m sure one would work just as well for me too 🙂 No I don’t have one and am now suffering from trolley-envy!!
