Welcome to Day 29 of 31 Days of Getting Organized!
Well, I didn’t get any picture perfect organized sewing room photos in my inbox since yesterday’s post……… don’t worry, you can still send them in to me… I’ll be patient 🙂 In the meantime, I’ve been busy and have a few picture perfect photos of my own to share! I have everything in a tidy state and ready to hopefully have a fun day of sewing tomorrow…
I changed a few things around… put Nina on the desk instead of in front of the window:
Notice the trolley is also organized… top shelf for accessible things… second one for stitchery stuff, and bottom for things I use less often…. I am sure there is more to go in there, but it is a start.
My rulers, cutting board and baby ironing board are all in the same place as before:
Now I can enjoy the view while I am writing blog posts….. 🙂
Just in case you think this picture perfect organized sewing room (say that 10 times) is going to stay this way, do not fear… by the end of tomorrow I am sure it won’t be picture perfect anymore!!!
I did find a few links of picture perfect sewing rooms that are quite inspirational:

Now I am thinking I might not wait till tomorrow to mess up my sewing room….. I think Nina and I will start playing now 🙂
your sewing room looks well organised….. whatever works for us is best I think and creativity is rarely tidy and ‘picture perfect’ I must say I do like a tidy room even if it is only temporary!! haha

Your space looks great. Mine, on the other hand, pretty much always looks like a cyclone has passed through minutes before. When I get to the stage where I only have about ten inches of clear space to work on I do a huge clean up and vow (EVERY SINGLE TIME!!!!) that I will NOT let it get that messy ever again. I vow I will put things away the moment I’m done with them and I will never, ever, let myself get in such a state again. Yeah. Right.
Ditto.
It looks ready for you to sew up a storm – hope you don’t literally do that or you’ll be back to sqare one again 🙂 It is so nice to be organised and be able to find the quick-unpick when needed, etc……
I have been following all your posts with interest and awe…..your sewing room looks a picture. I am slinking off now in messy shame lol!
I don’t know how you stay so organised with all the moves you’ve had. Well done. Thanks so much for this month of organising. Take care.
I do like the clean lines you have in your sewing area–a bit of fabric at work is the best; now go sew!
I have sewing room envy, lol … and lots of ideas to play in my sewing room/spare bedroom.
Have loved your posts each day this month, thank you for sharing 🙂
