Welcome to Day 31 of 31 Days of Getting Organized!
Well, it’s the 31st.. which means it is the end of this 31 day series… but is it the end of organizing?! Nope… sadly I think organizing never ends… at least not in my life! Because no matter how organized I get, life happens, and I need to reorganize things… again….
Mind you, I’m not saying that as a bad thing, because sometimes organizing can be fun 🙂 Like this month – even though I had a lot on, I did enjoy organizing various areas of my sewing room and my life… and I enjoyed getting hints, tips and encouragement from all of you!
I think I have some things fairly under control like my:
and
Areas I still need to work on are my:
Fabric, which is probably going to be a never ending task as I use fabric regularly, so it gets messed up easily
Picture perfect sewing room, which will never stay picture perfect until I learn how to put things away after I have used them
and
Other areas of the house that I didn’t get around to this month 🙂
On the whole, however, I feel like I have made progress and now I need to get stuck into sewing up a storm and messing up my nicely organized sewing corner!!!
Thanks so much for sticking with me this month and for those of you who have shared your organizing progress in emails and in blog posts! I hope you found a few new ideas and inspiration….
Joy, I think you have done a fantastic job organizing this month. I find that it is an ongoing, never ending project because something always needs organized and purged. 😉
Nice series for a good job organizing! It was great to see what you have used to make the best of what you have-a good lesson for all of us!
I think all 31 days have been great – I enjoyed all your posts (and must admit I will miss this topic!).
Well done & as you say, it never ends. Thanks for the 31 Days project & although I had to play a lot of catchup due to NBN problems, I enjoyed. Take care.
It’s been interesting to be organising ‘along’ with you Joy. Enjoy your time sewing up a storm!!
It’s been a fun and informative journey…now to pout it into practice!
Hi Joy. I wasn’t able to add a comment on the post on how to dispose of broken needles etc so I’ll add it here. I use an Keens curry or mustard tin. The beauty of them is that a rotary cutter blade also fit in the opening. My cheeky hubby just suggested a voodoo doll. Told you he was cheeky. I also love the suggestion of a toothpick container. Great ideas.
