It’s taken me a while, but I finally have the first block ready for our new Gingerbread Village Free Block of the Month for this year!
Now if you happened to come by my website the past few days, you may have noticed that it was either all in Japanese, or it had been “suspended”….
Turns out I got hacked…!! After spending 11 hours in an online chat with my website provider I think I got it all sorted… hopefully it will stay that way!
Back to the free BOM……. Sapphy thought she might help me get it ready for you all….
Can’t say she was much use….
Good thing she is cute!
Oh, in case you missed any or all of last year’s free Fruit of the Spirit block of the month, I’ve updated the page and you can download the whole quilt pattern there. (I am sloooooowwwwlllyyy fixing all the links to Craftsy which are now useless.. I won’t go into the Craftsy situation now, you’ve probably heard enough about it!)
This year’s BOM will work a little differently… each block will be up for FREE for a month, after which it will only be available in our Etsy Shop.
You can click on the picture below to go to the download page for the first block:
In other news, I have finally made some progress on getting my sewing room set up… I will try to get pics up of it soon…
Until then, hope you all enjoy the first Gingerbread Village block and happy stitching!
Joy!!!! Its adorable!!! Cant wait to start stitching!!!
How sweet! I can imagine a whole quilt of little fairy tale houses!
Sorry about all the blog wowww’s–sometimes people can be soo mean!!
glad to hear you are getting your sewing life back on track–

So pleased things are back on track. X
It’s crazy how people will hack others… and to what avail? sorry you had all that to sort out…. your new BOM is very sweet….
Hugz
This looks too tempting to resist!! Thank you Joy š
The first Gingerbread block is really cute, but I really do have to say that it doesn’t hold a candle to that sweet little furry studio helper!! So sorry you got hacked.
Oh the hacking must have been a right nuisance for you Joy, I hope everything is back under your control now & never to happen again!
Your gingerbread block is so darling! Glad you got your blogging issues straightened out. Nancy
I’ve been waiting for this first block! Yay! I’m so sorry you were hacked. That has happened to a number of Aussie accounts lately. I wonder if there’s a hacker blitz on you!
What a nuisance being hacked is. I sure wish the people with those skills would put them to better use. Meanwhile, I love this darling little house. What’s the chance that to complete the series you and/or your daughter could design a block that says “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord”? š
Such a great idea for a BOM!!! So sorry to read about you being hacked – cannot imagine what a nightmare that must have been. Thanks for the design.
Finally popped by after calling you this morning. Hope all the sorting has worked. Love the gingerbread house & Sapphy!!!! Have a great weekend & take care.
So glad to see you have got this wonderful series up and running. Hope it is not as hot there as it is here this week. xx
Erg! What a pain. I’m sorry you had to deal with that for your blog. š This gingerbread house is so sweet – but your Kitty!!!!! She’s a beauty, for sure.
