Ok, I know, I’m running quite late posting my OMG…and my other goals, but I am getting there… slowly….
I think if I had a word for this year, it would have to be “slow”. Everything seems to take me a long time at the moment… oh well…
So, here are my goals:
I wonder if there is a prize for the longest time it takes to finish a OMG???? Because the purple quilt has been my one monthly goal since.. um… last October???!!!!
I am hopeful, however, that I will make it this month because Sapphy did eventually let me sew the binding on…. oh, and don’t you hate it when you get to the corner and the join in the binding is right there?!
Even though she still likes the quilt, now the the machine part is done, I can hand stitch and let her snuggle on it at the same time…
I did briefly think of having this bunny as my OMG:
However, I decided I really NEED to get the purple quilt done.. so, the bunny went under my WIP goals….
In other news, Dad and I went to a couple of local op shops and bought some shelving and sideboards, so I’ve been unpacking storage tubs…
I’ll take more pics soon.. but I feel I am making progress.. slowly 🙂
Better get back to it…
PS Don’t forget to download this month’s free calendar and goals printables!
Thanks so much Joy for the planning pages! Love the bunny!
Don’t feel bad about the ‘slowly’ part of living right now-
I am right there with you–
time seems to move faster and faster–
but me–I feel like my projects go slower and slower!!!
But like you–I am just happy that I am moving along–even if it be a ‘slower’ pace–
luv, di
Sapphy is just so helpful! It looks like you are well on your way to making your goal.
It’s not a race. Take your time. You look like you are making fantastic progress on your quilt, and that bunny is adorable!
Yay, binding is happening….. you will be pleased to have it done. Great to get some cupboard space and start unpacking ‘essentials’…
HUgz
You skipped the yarn category!!!!! Shame!
Well done on the purple quilt & I also hate it when the join is on the corner. Keeping the first one away is easy, but then the binding has a mind of it’s own. Great storage & you didn’t see any 16 drawer chests by any chance? Can’t wait to see the new setup & meet Sapphy. She’s so cute. Have a good week & take care. Oh, and I really need your help with something!!!!
Sapphy is so adorable! And the purple quilt is gorgeous! Congrats on its near finish!
Must finish bunny! Must finish bunny! Must finish bunny!! Must find the rest of the parts of bunny!!! I don’t know how you get anything done with that little cutie around.
Slow and steady wins the race lol! The purple quilt will go quicker now that you have such nice company….love your sweet rabbit too xx
Slow progress is just fine – at least you’re moving in the right direction! Your studio helper is a great inspiration and she also forces you to slow down and appreciate the moment. Please give her special scritches for me!
Any progress is good progress, you still have a lot of settling in to do. Good luck with your goals – don’t worry I have several OMGs that never made it past the starting post and still need attention 🙂
The purple quilt looks great, almost there! June is not far away now!
What a gorgeous cat! And the purple quilt is wonderful. Happy unpacking….never much fun I’m sure!
