Before I tell you about the new Tea Rose Embroidery Collection that DD and I are working on, I want to tell you about the latest crazy challenge I have joined….
#the100DayProject
On Monday night DD told me she was joining in on the 100 Day project – a challenge to explore creativity for 100 days…
You may remember that I attempted this a few years ago… can’t remember how many days I did, but I didn’t complete it 🙂
Since DD was joining in, I decided I might as well, but this time I am going to keep it simple. I am doing one Hexie a day… I picked this jelly roll and grabbed my Baby Go! and made a start:
It’s day two and I am on track (hahaha!) Two hexies… and…. doing some stitching of a new pattern coming up… it’s part of our new Tea Rose Embroidery stitchery collection…
Goals for Last Month and This Month
I was quite happy with the things I crossed off my list last month:
This month my goals are:
Remember you can download these goal sheets for free and/or get the matching monthly planner in the membership.
In other news… I have possibly unpacked half of the boxes that arrived on Monday….
It’s slow going, but I am enjoying finding all my treasures 🙂
Hope you are all having a lovely week of stitching…
Fun new embroideries–the packing looks daunting but you can manage one box at a time!
What a nice stack of boxes–with all kinds of goodies in them to
rediscover!!!! Hexie’s are definitely a good project for one a day challenge for
100 days–and pretty colors there too!!!
and your new embroidery project that you and DD are working on looks
lovely–I will add it to my ‘want’ list!!
luv, di
You do like a challenge don’t you? the hexies will look great together and a good way to get them done…. very sweet new ‘collection’ style of stitcheries…

hi joy. your tea rose embroiderys are so pretty. i am feeling overwhelmed these days but then saw the picture of all your unpacked boxes. nancy
I know I wouldn’t dare try a hundred day challenge – I’d probably only make it to day 15 (if that!!) before falling off the wagon. Your sweet lady embroidery will be so pretty when she’s done – looking forward to watching her progression. And opening boxes – can be a little bit like Christmas.
One hexie a day – now that’s do-able!
The boxes are going down aren’t they? When you showed me that jelly roll, I thought it might be for something we were talking about, but I know you have many more for that. I’m trying to think up something for my lovely charm square pack. Was lovely seeing you this week. Take care & huggles.
Hehe I am just wondering how you fitted so many boxes worth of treasures in the apartment you were in?!
