  1. And I suppose your studio helper wasn’t in sight while you were unpicking. I’m afraid I don’t know much about longarm quilting machines but I imagine all that reverse stitching wasn’t something you wanted to do! (ps. can’t get over how much Sappy has grown!)

  2. Ugh! Picking out stitches is NO fun! Nothing for it, though, it must be done.
I have the same problem with the laser drifting-what a pain!
And cats–don’t get me started–they will sleep on the quilt like a giant hammock and leave a big divet instead of a tight, flat surface! I can’t lock mine out–it is an open room! Good job done on your part-they will be great!

  3. Such a cue little helper. Your quilt is lovely. Glad the problem with the machine was a simple fix & that your Dad could fix it. Hugs,xx

  4. Emmie G is glad to be out playing again. Well done with the quilting and the unpicking! pooh…. but I’m glad it was fixable and you can get going again….
    Hugz

  5. Good to see Emmie G up & running now, but, oh dear, I hate unpicking, which I did also a couple of months ago on one of mine. That little helper will have to be so careful, not to get hurt. I’ve been unpicking two blocks I sewed up wrong, but that’s small compared to yours & I’m sewing binding down of an evening. Have a good week & take care.

  6. Sorry you had to unpick, but it’s really an occupational hazard, and has to be done, especially on a customer quilt! What you spend 5 minutes quilting, usually takes an hour or so of unpicking!

  7. Oh how annoying it was the customer Quilt .. pleased EmmieG is working again thanks to Dad..
    Cute helper ….
