And it’s ready! Our Christmas in July Stitchalong Block 3!
I hope you’ve been enjoying the Christmas in July Stitchalong.. even if you are just saving the blocks for another day… I know that in the Northern Hemisphere it has been pretty hot, so maybe you’re not in the mood to stitch at the moment…
Then again, these blocks are quick to make, so turn on the air, and enjoy some Christmas in July stitching… 🙂
Here’s block three:
Update: The stitcheries are no longer up for free, but are now available in our shop.
Remember, the blocks will be up for free all month, after which they will go in our shop.
I’ve got a few other pics of the first two blocks to share….
Deborah stitched these two up:
I love how she has used chain and satin stitch, they look so pretty!
Nancy has finished this one:
I really like how Nancy changed the stars and dots to asterisks and cross-stitches!
You can see that you don’t have to stitch the ornaments the same way as I do – use your own stitches and creativity!
So there you have it – three Christmas Embroidery Ornaments…. and next week Monday I’ll be back with a tutorial to put them all together in a cute little wall hanging…
Tomorrow is my day for the 12 Days of Christmas blog hop, which started yesterday! You can go here to see who has been sharing projects so far….
As I mentioned in the last post, mine has to do with hexagons….
There might be a pesky cat involved….
….. and quite possibly a cheeky cockatoo…
See you tomorrow!
Fun goings on at your house! The new ornament is so delicate-nice design!
Thank you! These are delightful ornament designs. I like seeing other people’s, too. A pesky cat and a cheeky cockatoo? Sounds like fun! Especially with some hexagons thrown in!
I just printed of #3-have 1 and 2 done–so as soon as I get this one stitched I will do photos of all three–these have been so fun to day–thanks–
luv, di
I have the first one stitched. 🙂 The 2nd is traced & now i better go get number 3 traced & them both stitched up. Love Sapphy’s paw, just so cute. Hugs,xx
I have loved these blocks. Living very close to the beach in FL, mine have “sand” in the bottom. Maybe this one will have wave??? Please do more!
I love to embroider…this reminds me of the many dish towels we used to embroider as kids. So nostalgic!
Hi Joy, I finished up block two last night! Now on to block three! I love the hearts in block 3! I wondered what you would come up with . About all I could think of was a snowman! Like the hearts better! Thank you so much for sharing these with me. I love the hexagon table mat. I have never done a hexagon before! I signed up for the pattern give away and hope I win one of the twelve!! I love getting ideas from Christmas in July blogs! Nancy
Another cute design Joy – but cutest of all have to be the sweet little kitty paws.
your ornaments are so cute! Thanks for sharing.
It’s nice to see what others are ding with your design. As you can see I’m having a catch up session!! Thank you 🙂 Have a great day!
