I’ve enjoyed joining in on blog hops these past few years.. but I’ve never joined in on any Halloween ones… probably because it is not a holiday we celebrate!
But when I heard about Carol’s Witchy Stitchy Blog Hop I thought, why not… just because we don’t do Halloween doesn’t mean we can’t join in and give you something cute to stitch…
So I went to DD and asked her to design something…
I think you’re going to like what she came up with!
Isn’t it cute?!
Since I am travelling, I brought my handy dandy portable light box with me (my clever dad made it!).. and traced the embroidery on some white fabric…
Love this lightbox….. anyone want a tutorial on how to make one? Let me know 🙂
I had my threads and hoop with me of course… and it only took me a day to stitch up (with lots of tea breaks!)…
Now I haven’t turned it into anything yet, but there is still time by the end of the month, right? I’m planning on putting it on the front of a little bag… when I am back with my sewing machine 🙂

What an excellent job of giving you you witch! And nice work on the hand embroidery, too!
I don’t celebrate Halloween either but your daughter’s design is so adorable that I had to download it. Thank you.
Beautiful embroidery!
What a beautiful stitchery!
Good morning, such a lovely way to start the day. I love her. I am going on a quilting retreat next week and I believe I will pack her in my bag to go along. Thanks so much for the pattern.
Love that little witch! Thanks for posting for the hop!
I’ve gotten back into embriodery in the last few years. This will be a great addition for a small quilt to hang on my door. Thanks for participating I’m enjoying this blog hop so much, I love Halloween.
Joy, this stitchery is really darling! Very in the ‘spirit’ of things! Your DD did a great job on its design! Thanks so much for sharing! 🙂
Very cute. I have a home made lightbox my dh made for me years ago though I don’t use it much anymore.
This is the sweetest Halloween embroidery project. I love it! I’m so glad you joined in to share this Witchy Stitchy witch and her cat. Thank you for sharing the pattern with us, too!
What a sweet embroidery pattern. Thank you. Who says witches have to be scary? And a cat cuddle is how I like to start my day, too. 🙂
Such a sweet embroidery! Halloween happiness!

I love this embroidery pattern! This will look so cute on my granddaughter’s Trick or Treat bag.
You did a beautiful job of stitching it out. Thank you for the pattern!
Cute little stitchery! I am not into the Halloween stuff either so I may change up the stitchery a bit with different colors. Thank you!
Your embroidery is so sweet!! Your daughter is quite the artist with a pen, just like you are with needle and thread!
Thank you for the witch embroidery. I do enjoy decorating for Halloween but don’t like the scary look. Your witch is very sweet and I will enjoy stitching it.
Cute project and her face is so pretty.
How sweet. Your DD is quite artistic. And your stitching makes it a wonderful embroidery. Thank you for the pattern
Oh my goodness, this is soooo adorable. Too cute!
Thank you for sharing you pattern for such a cute little stitchery.
You and your daughter are so talented! Did she go to art school? Maybe you 2 can do a witçhy series…
Thanks so much for this cute witch and cat. I love it!
Great pattern – thanks for sharing and enjoy your trip!
I am not a Halloween fan either. I think this is cute. It looks to me like I could leave off the witch’s hat and just round her head a little, or replace it with a different hat for any holiday. Thanks for the pattern.
Joy, your DD did an awesome job designing and you did an awesome job stitching! Thanks so much for sharing your stitchery and your pattern!
What a sweet little witch! I’m not a Halloween person although when our boys were small I did do some decorating and of course had to come up with costumes for them.
Thank you got the beautiful embroidered witch pattern! I just love it!❤️❤️
