It’s one of my favorite times of the year 🙂 I don’t know who started the whole Christmas in July thing, but I love it.. because I love Christmas and an extra month to celebrate or enjoy Christmassy things is nice I think!
It’s also a good time to start planning for the “real” Christmas season in December!
Guess what?
Yes, we have 177 days to stitch up some goodies for Christmas!
If you’ve been following me for a while, you’ll know that a few years ago I hosted a “Sew Early For Christmas” blog hop.. check out the blog post with links to four tutorials for quick and easy Christmas gifts.
Last year I hosted a Christmas in July Stitchalong… the patterns were up for a month and then went into our shop for sale.
So, this year I thought we’d have another stitch-a-long 🙂
It will be a lot like last year’s – a stitchery a week for free, and at the end of the month they will go up for sale in our shop.
We’ll be starting next week, but in the meantime, check out these Christmas tutorials:
And patterns:
Oh, I’ll also be in a few Christmas blog hops, so make sure you come back regularly to see what is happening here for Christmas in July 2020!!
Who else loves Christmas?
Sounds like a plan–
I will be back–
Merry Christmas-
luv, di
Count me in, though it will be slow going because of my very sore hands. Take care & hugs.
Yay – Christmas in July! I can get behind that. Actually I was just sort of slightly, just a tad, freaked out to realize that it’s July already and I haven’t started anything for the Christmas box. Yikes!!!! Normally it’s half full by now. All I have in there is a few little scrubby dishcloths so I’d better get my thinking cap on and get busy!! Of course who knows if we’ll even be getting together by Christmas time.
Oh, it is that time of year! Yay! I love Christmas. I have plenty of Christmas quilts to get quilted, too!
Oh yay. Can’t wait. Hmm just realised I haven’t made last year’s stitcheries into anything yet. 😔. Hugs, xx
