Welcome to another Christmas in July Stitchalong!
Last year’s ornaments are now up for sale in our shop, and there is a tutorial here on the blog on one of the ways to use them by turning them into a wall hanging…
Later in the year I made a second set to match, and which is also in our shop.
Like last year I will have three blocks coming out this month… they are free for the whole month, and after that they will go into the shop.
Update: These blocks are no longer free but will be available soon in our Etsy Shop.
This year I have some more ornaments to share with you!
I’ll be posting a new block on Mondays, and like last year I’ll also post a tutorial of how to use these stitchery blocks… which will be on the 15th as part of this blog hop:
Ok, on to the first stitchery design!!
CHRISTMAS IN JULY STITCHALONG 2020 BLOCK 1
Last year I gave out a bonus block, and it is available for free in our new At Home With Joy Facebook Group (Stitching with Joy is not longer active):
Happy Stitching!
Thanks, Joy!! Looking forward to seeing your project.
Thank you so much for the scrappy mystery quilt along. I finished mine over the weekend except for the borders, and I love it. I just wanted you to know how much I appreciate all you did to bring such a sweet project to all of us. Have a great, safe and healthy week!
Cute ornament. Too bad I don’t do Facebook.
Thanks for the ornament. The bonus ornament is cute. Too bad I don’t do FB.
Looks like a fun stitch along Joy – thank you for sharing your sweet designs.
Thank you Joy for your generosity. I don’t think I will try to do the stitch along this year. (may change my mind) I still haven’t figured out how to put the little table piece together yet from last year. Bob did run off the kitty one for me though as I would like to do that for a friend that likes cats. We will see if I can get it done! I have not been able to get to sleep till 1:30 or 2am so hope to get that figured out. Working with a nutritionist. Chronic fatigue slows me down as have to rest different times. I have dehydrated. beans, carrots, pineapple, peaches, strawberries, nasturtium leaves, carrot tops, borage leaves, catnip leaves, lettuce, swiss chard and beet greens. Maybe more. Will you be posting any sewing Christmas projects also? Stay well from this Covid 19 stuff. I am ready for it to be over! Nancy
Yay love the ornaments. I may add last year’s to this year’s & make a bigger hanging. See what happens when I get done. 😊. Hugs, xx
