Almost forgot that it was Monday and time for Block 2 in our 2020 Christmas in July Stitchalong!
Don’t worry if you haven’t finished the first block, you have time to catch up because here is where I am with Block 2:
Update: These blocks are no longer free but will be available soon in our Etsy Shop.
You can also just save them and keep them for when you have time or are in the mood for stitching…
Here in our state we have seen a tightening of restrictions again as we seem to be in a second wave of corona cases…. although we don’t have tighter restrictions in our town, it has brought the reality of what is happening world wide back again. At first we seemed to have “won” the battle against Covid 19 in Australia, but in reality it is far from over…
I have found myself retreating back into my little world again, and missing my DH whom I will not be able to see for who knows how long now… but I am also thankful for the many blessings we have…
Normally Christmas in July is a little bit more joyful, but I think we are all just trying to survive as we wait and see how long this worldwide crisis is going to last…
On Wednesday, however, we’ll have some fun with the Christmas in July Pattern Parade Blog Hop…. I’ve seen some of the projects and they are sooooooo cute!!!! I know that will bring us all a bit of cheer this month!
Wherever you are, in whatever lockdown stage you are, I hope you are well and staying safe…
See you on Wednesday!
What a sweet ornament pattern! Looking forward to Wednesday!!
Oh, fun-I will add them to my pile from last year for a nice sized little wall hanging!
Thats a lovely bauble pattern… take care. it is worrying times..
Hugz
Thanks Joy & for my phone call yesterday. I’ll add it to my pile of things to do, along with trying to take a decent photo of the scrappy mystery I’ve already named Panademia.(giggle). Or another thought, it could be called Pandemonium! Take care, stay safe & huggles.
Such a cute pattern – thank you! Here in Ontario (Canada) we’re entering what they’re terming as being ‘Stage 3’ of the recovery process which is also accompanied by warnings that IF people don’t follow the guidelines things will be shut down again….or if/when there’s a second wave of this. Most are expecting a lock down in the fall again. At the moment masks are mandatory if you are indoors and social distancing must be observed everywhere. Personally I’m content to stay at home as much as possible, with only quick forays to the grocery store and once a month to the bank. Stay safe!
I am sorry you cannot see your hubby. That must make it twice as hard. Stay safe. Nancy
Thanks, Joy! This is another cute ornament. If I add these to last year’s, I should be able to make any number of things.
