It’s a busy, busy week for us here as our boys are moving out on their own…
I’ve been going through my cupboards and getting doubles out for them to have in their kitchen… and sorting out other odds and ends…
In between all that, I am working on my project for the Fairy Tale Blog Hop hosted by Moosestash Quilting
You can check out the links to all those who have posted so far HERE! My day is Thursday, so I hope you come back then to check out what I have made 🙂
I haven’t done a lot of sewing, but I did get happy mail…
It’s one of Accuquilt’s circle dies (affiliate link), that I am planning to use for the next row of the Bedding Plants QAL. I’ve wanted this one for a while… it is going to be great for making yoyos, snowmen… and, oh, so many more fun projects!
Accuquilt also has a bunch of free patterns to use with this die, you can check them out here (affiliate link).
Tomorrow is moving day for the boys. and I think we are pretty organized… once they have moved, I’ll be back in the sewing room!
See you on Thursday for a Fairy Tale…..
Bittersweet times ahead-boys coming and going at our house for a decade! lol
We will see you soon back to your quilting!
You are going to have so much space in the cabinets, you won’t know what to do! Not to mention extra room in the house – yay! It’s good to see them independent, isn’t it? I could wish the same here, but not likely to happen. LOL Thanks for the free pattern link. I only have the small circles die, but I’m going to check to see if any of the patterns would still be possible.
all good wishes for the boys and their move out… exciting

All the best for today guys. I’m sure you’ll be missed, but close by still. Another blog hop? You are amazing & can’t wait to see what you do. Still have woeful i’net here because of the storms. I need batting so will go today before we go into another lockdown. Hope to see you soon, take care & hugs.
I hope the move goes smoothly. Happy sewing with your new circle dies 🙂
Does this mean you’ll have an empty nest? I’m assuming they are moving together or are you having to move them to separate locales.
Hello,
I am beginning to start Let’s Stay Home quilt. Did you use two embroidery threads of the DMC? I also have number 8 and number 12 threads but I thought these patterns may need only the fine DMC embroidery threads. Ready to start sewing tomorrow while I am at my senior center. Love the pattern.
Thank you.
