Welcome to Day 3 of the “Orange You Glad” Blog Hop hosted by the lovely Carla from Creatin’ in the Sticks!
I had three ideas for this blog hop – one to do with oranges, the other with pumpkin soup, and the last with orange marmalade I picked up from one of our community stores 🙂
The orange marmalade goes nicely with this month’s Let’s Stay Home block (grab it while it’s free!) and I am planning on doing new covers for them and have them as gifts.. since I don’t like marmalade 🙂
Of course I didn’t end up going with any of the three ideas I had….
I am not really an orange fan… but I do have a few orange projects to share… the first one is this hexagon table topper made with this pattern:
So quick an easy and a fun autumn pattern…
The other project I wanted to share that has quite a bit of orange in it, is this one:
I took these pics a while ago and never got to share them with you.
The quilt is called Harvest Spice and is a big one…. I had trouble hanging it on the washing line for this photo shoot:
Even though these are not my usual colors, I do love it…
As a bonus, it is dog approved….
Well, that’s my offering for this blog hop… You can find the main list of everyone joining in here.
The others who are posting today are:
Thank you Carla for hosting this blog hop!
And… just because I can’t help myself,….
Orange you glad Carla hosted this fun blog hop?!
I love that your beautiful quilt is Dog approved. When my dogs sit sweetly on a quilt as soon as I pick up the phone they turn their backs on me. Yours looks so happy. Maybe before I hop tomorrow I’ll give them another chance for approval. IF you don’t see them you’ll know why. I love the idea of the Marmalade jar covers, I’m not a marmalade person either but it is a perfect idea for this hop.
Very cute dog! Oh, pretty quilt also.
Love the orange quilt! Cute dog!
That quilt is gorgeous! The colors really work well together. I like your hexie table mat too. Someone will enjoy that marmalade. 🙂 Thanks for sharing!
I’m always thrilled with hexagons and your table topper is so sweet. Your quilt is a show stopper for sure. The oranges really pop. The quilt is truly beautiful. Thank you for hopping in the Orange You Glad Blog Hop. The Orange Marmalade looks yummy!
I enjoyed seeing your projects with the orange in them. Harvest Spice is a beauty and your added colors makes the orange look great.
Fun table topper, gorgeous quilt, and absolutely wonderful doggie!
Wow, your big Harvest Spice quilt is really stunning. I love the colors. You know it’s a hit when the fur babies want to lay on it too! LOL!! What a fun pumpkin hexi topper. I’m excited that it’s about that time of the year again!
Great orange ideas–the big quilt is fantastic!!!
what lovely projects. wow your quilt is stunning. always love it when one of my projects is cat approved.
I love both projects – and it’s very important to be dog-approved!! That quilt is stunning!
That sweet little dog has good taste! I’m not a huge fan of orange either but that quilt is spectacular.
I laughed at the *dog approved* Thats the most important step right? Lovely Quilt!!
I have a fat quarter of your squirrel fabric in the hexies I haven’t figured out what to do with…maybe this will inspire me.
I love your projects, the quilt is beautiful! Thanks so much for sharing!
Those are all beautiful orange projects and it’s always good that it is dog approved!
Your quilts are gorgeous, and it is good to know that the dog approves. 👍
Love your harvest spice quilt. So pretty. Cute little doggie. Hugs, xx
Loved your orange “thoughts” & the quilt is definitely a stunner. All that applique, it must have taken an age. Love the dog, but didn’t realise you’d had one…………. Take care & hugs.
Yummm orange marmalade. I really love the hexagon project. Thank you for sharing!
Your big quilt is fantastic! Love the design and I like the quick table topper too. It gets me excited to decorate for fall.
What a stunning quilt. Are the wreaths in it applique or hand painted? They are so gorgeous. Sweet puppers and such happy one too.
That quilt and table topper are lovely but how can you not like orange?
Gorgeous quilt! And the furry model isn’t so bad either!
Two absolutely gorgeous projects. The quilt is large, it must have taken a long time to complete.
I like marmalade if it has enough sugar and not too much peeling. Or if the peeling is candied. The dog surely approves of that orange quilt!
What a stunningly beautiful quilt! I do like that table topper, too! Marmalade is good, but only if it’s not too sweet and has lots of peel in it! 😉
