Did you know that it is only 32 days till Christmas???
You’re welcome.
Of course you already knew that Christmas was coming, didn’t you? You probably even have friends or family that already have their Christmas tree up.. .like my super organized sister:
Me, not so much… no tree yet… and no decorations other than the ones I dragged out for the mug rugs last week!
Speaking of the mug rugs, wasn’t it a great hop last week? I really enjoyed it and hope you did too. Remember I have a giveaway happening, and I haven’t done the draw yet… so if you still want to comment on the blog hop posts, you can get some chances to go in the draw for this free pattern:
Even though it is only 32 days till Christmas, there is still plenty of time to sew some decorations or gifts… I noticed that this blog post has been getting a lot of visits lately!
I was thinking of doing a round up post next week of some more Christmas projects or gift ideas of things to sew or make – so my question to you is, do you have a project to share with us?
If so, please leave a comment below and I will email you for details, or just email me at joy at daysfilledwithjoy dot com!
Tomorrow I’m off to the dentist… not my favorite place to be! When I get home I will try to do some sewing – I haven’t been in the sewing room since last week…
Hope you’re having a good week and sewing lots!
Bring Christmas on!! With the world as crazy as it is right now, I have already completed all my shopping! I just need to get everything wrapped and under the tree. My tree has been UP for about five years now because my grands love to see it when they come. This year, I’m thinking I am going to take it down and replace it with a smaller one. But…we will see! LOL
The real question is, did I actually WANT to know how close it is? =) I’m so unprepared this year – have a few little things, but the mailing part will mean they arrive after Christmas, as I’ll be gone past the Christmas mailing deadlines here. I’ll be looking for your post, though, because I always like seeing Christmas posts.
Sadly I am never ready for Christmas… haha…. I try and ignore it till it really is too late! But I do love mince pies
Hugz
I am working still on Thanksgiving here in the States… After that is Christmas happenings here, although it is annoying that I too have a super organized sister who has her tree up too! lol I love Christmas posts!
I must admit to being one of THOSE people that everyone loves to hate (at least this year). I’m done – everything is made although I still have some wrapping to do. Tree isn’t up though and as far as I’m concerned I wouldn’t bother because we aren’t having anyone over. I’d be happy with just the nativity set but DH wants the tree so I will oblige.
Oh, no, the dentist right after Thanksgiving! The Christmas season for us begins this weekend, when I take down and pack away all the fall and ceramic turkeys, and get out the Christmas decor. I don’t have much to do in the way of gifts, but I’ll be making 15 small party favors for a gathering scheduled for the second weekend of December. I am doing a roundup post on Sunday of some of my free tutorials for gifts if that is something you’d be interested in for your round up.
No Christmas making at the moment, but have a few thoughts nibbling away. Take care & hugs.
