Welcome to Monday This and That… I found it quite helpful last week to write down all my goals, and also enjoyed visiting new blogs via the linkies I joined.
Last Week’s This and That
Last week was busy, but good… I must say by the time I got to Friday I was very tired and took it easy…
Last Week’s Menu Plan went well, with a few changes… the Beef Burgundy was a new recipe I tried and was delicious! I’ll share it with you one day
I didn’t make much headway with the bags on the back porch, and didn’t quite finish my sewing list… but Zone 4 went really well… it’s amazing how much you can get done in 15 min a day!
This Week’s This and That
I am putting a little less on my to do list this week because yesterday we got a new addition to the family….
His name is Loki, and he is already a ball of mischief….
So, it is an easy meal plan for me this week, and not any extra projects on my to do list…. because I know I won’t be getting as much sleep with the new baby!
In the Kitchen
Menu Plan:
Since it is still summer, we are enjoying using the BBQ, so I’ve planned a few more this week… The other recipes I try to make enough for leftovers so that I have a few days where I don’t need to cook
Monday – BBQ & Salad
Tuesday – Tuna Casserole
Wednesday – Beef and Corn Casserole from Freezer
Thursday – Leftovers
Friday – BBQ & Salad
Saturday – BBQ & Salad
Sunday – Leftovers
In the Sewing Room
Finish Hattie and Percy blocks (just need to applique)
Piece the Kettle and Cherry blocks (already cut out last week)
Heart Stitchery
Finish cleaning Emmie G
In the House and Garden
Years ago I followed the Flylady system, and it is still the one that seems to work best for me, so I am trying to get back on track with that. Last week it went well, so hopefully this week it will too
Work on Zone 5 – Lounge & Sunroom (15 min a day)
Finish the back veranda
Pot plants
Sow lettuce and rocket seeds
OMG
Last but not least, I’m popping in my One Monthly Goal today, since tomorrow is the 1st of March… I want to get this quilt quilted for a friend….
And that is it from me!
Do you want to join in?
You don’t need to have your post formatted the same way as I do, but you can if you want… Just link your blog post containing a recap of last week, or the weekend, or your plans for this week…. or any bit of this and that you want to share with us!

Should get back into getting organised too, as somewhere along the way I’ve stopped writing lists & just do some things every week, but no set goals. I’ll try working similar to yours & see how we go. The new fur baby is a cutie & can’t wait to meet her. Take care & hugs.
You say it’s going to be a lighter week? From here it still looks very busy. enJOY your new addition…..sweet kitty.

Loki is precious! I have four kitties, so you know I love the kitties! Your BBQ and salad would work for me any day, any time. Gosh I had forgotten all about the Flylady system. It is a good one. Hope you have a wonderful week!
