  1. It seems that the world is filled with disasters and no end in sight. Just a little sidenote to your post – if you aren’t a quilter and can’t support these two initiatives, perhaps people can do what I’ve done and support individual designers by purchasing their pattern downloads online. You can search places like Etsy and narrow the search parameters to reflect the area of the world (in my case it was the Ukraine). I found a delightful designer of cross stitch patterns and bought several that I will be making over the next few months. It’s not a huge gesture in the grand scheme of things but at least it’s one person helping one person.

  2. So sorry to hear about your floods. Eastern Kentucky here has had their share of floods the past year and then a whole town in western Kentucky and other areas got wiped out by a tornado in January! of all times. I’m blessed to still be ok here in the middle. Then yes, we add the concern of the poor folks in Ukraine where it seems just us people have to help. Good luck with your quilts. You are amazing to get so much done.

  3. Hi Joy yes I agree it sure is worrying times at the moment ,I don’t like to listen to the news as I find it depressing we need a channel that gives out all good news lol.
What a wonderful idea to support the people in the floods ,hope you have a lovely weekend đź’•

  4. It all helps – I have also seen Quilt Australia suggesting making blue & yellow hearts to give to Ukrainians who live here to let them know that we are thinking of them.
