Last night Loki and I joined in with others for Friday Night With Friends, hosted by the lovely Cheryll…
It was Loki’s first time in the studio and he had fun exploring, until he was all tuckered out and found a little spot to settle down:
He didn’t look particularly comfortable, even though there was some batting in there…
Every now and then he made a bit of a pretense to show some interest in what Nina and I were making…
And what were we working on?
Kettle’s On:
No unpicking involved in that one.
Cherry Pie:
A fair bit of unpicking with the cherry stalks, and perhaps a few angry words…. sigh…
But I’m very happy with how they turned out and thought Loki and I were quite productive 🙂
Any Marvel Fans out there? I’m thinking Season 2 of Loki should be called – Friday Night With Loki and Friends… with lots of kittens and stitching involved of course.
Check out what everyone else was up to last night!
You certainly were productive. Cherry pie was worth the unpicking. Loki is just soooooo cute.
Love your blocks and Loki is so cute just staying in his basket!!
He is a sweetie! The blocks turned out beautifully!
Great looking blocks and yes, unpicking is the worst! It pays off though when it’s re-worked and your eyes no longer hurt looking at the mistake. Loki has settled in so nicely and seems to enjoy his lookout spot!
I really like those blocks, especially since I’m from the area of the U.S. that’s known as the cherry capital. Where can I get those patterns? And where can I get a cute Loki? 🙂
Lovely blocks…. the fabrics are gorgeous too…
Hugz
that cute Loki–looks like he really wants to watch you two sew–only his little eyes really wanted to close and sleep–poor little tyke!!!
Really pretty blocks–my favorite one is that tea kettle–what flavor of tea is it going to brew up for us!!
hugs, di
I think that kitten might be even more adorable than your blocks!
The blocks are lovely. He he Loki is just to cute & adorable. :). Hugs, xx
Loki is adorable!!! And your blocks turned out quite cute, too!!!
Cute blocks & Loki looks quite at home in the studio. Thnks for the phone call. Take care & hugs.
How I miss having a studio cat but alas DH has developed allergies and we can’t have another kitty.
I like those blocks – esp. the kettle!
Isn’t it frustrating how something you think is going to be simple turns out NOT! Precious Loki.
Lovely blocks and looks like Loki enjoyed just spending the time in there with you
Loki is adorable. Why is it that cats always look so comfy?? A fabulous kettle; as is the cherry block. Such sweet fabrics.
You are probably lucky Loki was happy on his basket and not on your sewing! Love the blocks you’ve made.
