I’m seeing how I did with my to do’s last week, and making a new list for this week ….
And I’m linking up with Linda’s To Do Tuesday, making my list and checking it a few times through the week!
Last Week’s To Do’s
In the Kitchen
I wanted to spend 15 min a day in the kitchen doing extra cleaning and decluttering last week, but that didn’t quite happen. I think I might have managed two days… What can I say.. I spent more time in the sewing room than the kitchen last week!
In the Sewing Room
Chicken Salad Sewalong – Make Edna and Beatrice blocks – YES! Got both done ready to applique
Kitchen SAL – Mixing it Up and Strawberry Jam blocks (not doing these in the right order at all!) Got them cut out but not sewn together.
Finish wedding quilt – YES! Got the top done!! (no photo yet until it has been gifted!)
In the Home and Garden
Zone 25 – Kitchen – spend 15 min daily – Not quite…
Plant some herbs and spinach – Nope, didn’t end up going to Bunnings, so this didn’t happen.
This Week’s To Do’s
In the Kitchen
Sort and organize the pantry
Sort and clean both fridges
Make two freezer meals
In the Sewing Room
Chicken Salad Sewalong – Penny
Kitchen SAL – Mixing it Up
Heartfelt – Beloved Blocks (affiliate link)
Beautiful Day Mystery – Block 1 – Starry Eyed
Chooky’s Churn Dash SAL – two blocks
Quilt wedding quilt
In the Home and Garden
Zone 4 – Master Bedroom – 15 min a day
Nothing in the garden, it’s too cold…..
Well, I think that is enough of a to do list, don’t you?! If I even get half of all of that done, I’ll be pretty happy!
I hope you all have a wonderful week…
Your time in the sewing room was time well spent – I love the Chicken Salad blocks! Yay for finishing the wedding quilt top, and good luck with your big list this week.
Thank you for sharing with To Do Tuesday!
OMG, I am totally in love with these chicken salad blocks! I may have to order the fabric and join in the fun, or maybe use the fat quarters I have from 30s print!! Are you hand or machine appliqueing your blocks, Joy? I went over to her blog this morning and was looking at the goodies!!
Lots going on at your place and all those projects on the list…………looking forward to their progress. Love the chooky blocks. Weather certainly isn’t playing nicely for the garden and oh so cold too. I wanted to get some good photos outside, but not happening. I’ll catch up this week with you. Take care & hugs.
The chicken with chick is such a cute block!
You definitely have the right attitude when it comes to your to do list – get done what you can and don’t obsess over what you don’t.
I love that first chicken block – perfect use of fussy cutting to make the eyes.
I just never know what my body is going to feel like doing. I’ve decided I’m more productive to use the time for make lists to do something I didn’t get done yesterday because my body didn’t have the energy or when I spent time trying to find the garter snake I saw come into the garage? It sounds like its time for me to invite you to come and experience the 100º here in Kentucky.
ooh adorable chooks!
Those chickens are adorable!!
Such cute chickens!
