Just a quick post for FNSI… I started last night, and then did some more…. and will keep going tomorrow…
FNSI is hosted by the lovely Wendy, and tends to go for longer than just Friday night, because of all the time zone differences 🙂 I like any excuse to keep sewing, so I am dragging it out this weekend….
I started out with a secret project…
More on that in a few months…
Then I pulled out the next Beautiful Day Mystery quilt block that I cut out at Judy’s:
So nice to have it all cut out and ready to sew…. There are a lot of pieces in this one, so I haven’t finished yet. I think I am on step 3, and I am doing all four blocks at the same time…
Just in case I get bored with those four blocks, which I doubt I will, but hey, you never know… I also pulled this out to work on:
I also cut this out a while back and put it in a zippy pouch, with a note of what it was and which book and page the pattern was on. Since I am trying to do leaders and enders, I am trying to do all of these blocks at the same time without getting too mixed up 🙂
And that’s it… I’d better get back to work, it’s not 10 pm yet,so I should get a bit more sewing in today…
Thank you Wendy for hosting this for us every month!
Make sure you check out what the others are doing and fell free to join in with us! It’s Friday night somewhere in the world, so let’s sew together!
The Beautiful Day fabric is so pretty, and looks like you’ve got a Lori Holt project going on as well. Fun!
The colours in the pieces you’re working on made me smile this morning. Looking forward to seeing what the mystery project will be and also seeing the apron when you’re finished. My grandmas used to wear those sorts of aprons.
You have a lovely assortment of projects happening…
Hugz
Lots of lovely things going on at your place. I hope you get some more sewing time today x
You are working on some interesting projects. I look forward to seeing their progress.
Well done Joy, guess that’s the advantage of all the planning you do.
Pretty fabrics in your secret stitching and your Mystery project looks interesting. xx
That’s a neat project. I look forward to watching your progress on the mystery quilt.
Looks like you made full use of the FNSI this month.
You sure do have a lot of pretty things going on in your sewing space. I totally relate with doing the Leaders & Enders thing. I also work on multiple projects at once. It pays to be organized when you do that. So easy to get sewing along, only to find out OOPS! It was nice sewing with you Friday!
