Melva from Melva Loves Scraps, invited us to join in on a 30 day Photo Challenge for National Sewing Month. I must say, I have been finding it quite the challenge!
It’s an Instagram challenge, but I’ve also been doing it on my Facebook page and wanted to share the photos here, for those who are not on social.
This was the challenge:
The 30-day Photo Challenge is a simple daily posting or sharing of various sewing notions related to that day’s number. For example… Day one could be one thimble, or one pair of scissors, or one seam ripper… Day 2 could be two pins/needles, or two pairs of scissors… Day 13 could be 13 spools of thread.
In today’s post I will do Days 1 – 15, and just caption each photo.
Enjoy!
And there you have Days 1 – 15!
I posted two of them late because I only remembered when I was in bed… and decided they would have to wait till the next day because I wasn’t getting up! And I miscounted in one of the photos 🙂 Oh well!
Thanks Melva for this fun challenge!
I’ll post the rest early next month!
Hope you are all having a great weekend,
Great photos! That’s a lot of work to pull everything out, photograph it and put it all back!! Thank you for sharing on your blog also.
What fun!!! It’s going to be a bigger challenge as the month goes on to come up with things I expect. I’ll be looking forward to seeing what you find.
You’ve done a great job keeping up!!
OMG….. So you thought of the item or was that given to you for each day?
Goodluck….. Interesting to see what you had each day……
Excellent work on this challenge–very fun!
Very clever with some great photos. Love the stack of ric rac, looks so pretty. Well done so far. Take care and hugs.
Lots of fun and great photos!
How clever to use the counting down with all your sewing treasures. I love it! I can’t believe you have 4 Berninas and a wonderful long arm. Lucky girl. Your Lori Holt Chickens will make a great quilt.
Love the spooled ric rac. I’ll be trying that out in my own sewing space. Thank you for the inspiration.
