Time again for Monday This and That ~ coming to you from a beautiful European autumn day…
It’s been beautiful Autumn weather here and I have been enjoying the mild weather, and gorgeous colors outside…
As per my to do list last Monday, I’ve been not doing much 🙂
I’m spending a bit of my time in the kitchen, looking out the window…
Outside is a little herb garden in pots…
And inside I have been watching my uncle’s wife make jam… she picked a whole heap of grapes from her neighbor’s vines:
and was very busy with them…
making lots of jam and jelly:
I’ve been stitching and I managed to get my inbox down from over 600 to 8…. yes, I am very proud of myself. I must admit, I did just toss lots of them, so my apologies if I haven’t replied to some older comments, hopefully I can keep up again for a while!
Plans for This Week
Keeping some of my list from last week, and adding a few…
- enjoy, relax and enjoy some more!
- work on some stitcheries
- catch up on more blog posts
- chat, and relax, and enjoy my time with family 🙂
- put up the next Gingerbread Village Block
- enjoy, relax, and….. enjoy 🙂
Again, quite a doable list!

I’ve never made grape jam or jelly, only juice. It was simple and very tasty. Hope yours turned out well.
Looked like you are having a nice, relaxing time. The grape jelly looks wonderful. Happy fall!
Keep doing what you are doing–relaxing! Nice to see the produce!
Aren’t the Autumn colors beautiful? We have had a gorgeous couple of weeks here. And you have to enjoy it while you can, because it doesn’t last long.
Enjoy your time while you are away, and relax
Your family time looks wonderful, and that view out the kitchen window is lovely. I’d love some of that grape jam!
It’s lovely to see you are enjoying your time with family. I have never thought to make grape jam/jelly so will have to give it a try this season!! I am intrigued by the upside down jars?
I do like the sounds of that list of yours! Seeing the grapes reminded me that my parents would often buy a basket of that type in the fall when I was a kid. Haven’t seen them for years.
I’m so glad you are relaxing! The location certainly looks lovely!
