Mystery Autumn Stitchalong Week 3
I’ve seen lots of pumpkins on my trip….. at markets..
At the supermarket…
Even in my cousin’s house…
The pumpkins are quite different varieties to what we have back home, which is fun to see. We did also eat some while I was here, including this lovely pumpkin soup at a restaurant…
This soup had shrimps in it! I was quite surprised, never thought of that combination before… I mean I’d had bacon in pumpkin soup, but never shrimps…. it was delicious, but I think I prefer bacon if adding anything…
So, you guessed it, this week we are adding pumpkins 🙂
“How to” for the next step in the Stitchalong
Download the updated pattern below, print it out, and add to your stitchery by tracing the leaves… and then start stitching!
Happy stitching!!
Oh that soup looks good! Last night I thought I was caught up with the SAL, took the fabric out of the hoop, and discovered I had missed one of the leaves hidden by the hoop – lol!
Oh, you are tempting me so. 😏
Love those shapely pumpkins, thanks!
Is that a working wood burning stove with the pumpkin and kettle? I’d love something like that in my house, since I didn’t get a fireplace. I don’t know if I have room for it, though. LOL They probably sell nothing like that here.
Pumpkins are a perfect addition to your fall stitching. I haven’t eaten pumpkin soup (would like to though!) but I’ll do without the shrimp. Resident Chef is violently allergic to anything that’s a shellfish/seafood so we steer a wide berth around it.
Very nice stitching and autumn filled photos.
That’s one thing I never learned to love–pumpkin soup! The addition to our embroidery is beautiful!
Thanks for pattern #3. Keeping track of this cute Autumn sampler.
Joy, the pattern is beautiful! Thank you. Wish I could get to it this year, but too crazy right now.
I downloaded it for future.
