We’re adding the last step to the embroidery!

Mystery Autumn Stitchalong Week 4
This week we are adding acorns….
When I visited the Netherlands back in 2017, we went for a walk in the woods and I found lots of acorns… it brought back memories of when I was a child, and we used to pretend they were pipes… (see the last photo in this blog post).
This time we didn’t go to the woods, and so I didn’t see any acorns – but I still thought I’d include it in this stitchery:
Sorry about the wrinkles…. I didn’t have access to a good iron while I was traveling! I will have it all ironed and neat for you to see next week!
“How to” for the next step in the Stitchalong
Download the updated pattern below, print it out, and add to your stitchery by tracing the leaves… and then start stitching!
Happy stitching!!
Hi Joy, thank you for this gorgeous stitchery design… I have been printing it out each week – (using the same paper so the lines are nice and dark!!) and although I haven’t started stitching it yet, I know I will…it is next on my list following one I am doing now!! I look forward to seeing how you finish yours.
Thank you Joy for this fun stitch along.
I wish I had made some wagers with a couple other ladies – I would have won because I speculated the last box would be acorns – lol! I have to say I am really enjoying this little stitch-along. You are good at pattern making!
Acorns are a perfect addition!
Thank you so much for this fun Autumn SAL, it has all my favorite things about autumn.
Love it!
Thank you for sharing your pattern!
Thank you!
Such a beautiful tribute to Autumn! Several of the ladies linked up their stitchery progress this week at Slow Sunday Stitching!
Thank you so much! I love this! Any chance we can get one for each season? (I would even PAY! LOL) Some people never are satisfied. =) I look forward to my hands shaking less so I can stitch this … for next year, no doubt!
Such a lovely little stitchery! A spring, summer and winter stitchery would make a perfect little wall hanging to add along with the fall and autumn. Thanks from Arkansas USA!
