Time to look at how things went last week.. and to plan this week!
Last Week’s This and That
I’m still battling jetlag, so everything is going very slowly here… Today was probably the first day that I felt somewhat human…
DH drove me to Bunnings last week and we got some odds and ends for the garden, garden beds to put together:
Since I’m starting so late with my veggie garden, I found one hanging basket of a well established cherry tomato, with lots of flowers and small green tomatoes on it already and bought that, along with some lettuce and herbs in various stages:
I also needed a bag of seed raising mix to start some seeds off, so I think I have a good start to my garden… now to work on getting it all planted up this week!
Of course the weather is still not very conducive to planting.. today when I headed out it started to hail down quite heavily:
Not at all good for seedlings!!!
This Week’s This and That

- Plant seedlings
- Sow seeds
Monday Menu Plan:
Eat out of the pantry, fridge and freezer!
Since I’ve been away for over a month, there are things that need to be used up, so I am going to use what we have this week and wing it 🙂
I hope you all have a wonderful week! Share your plans with us and link below 🙂
Have you got a bit of This and That to share? Then join in!
You don’t need to have your post formatted the same way as I do, but you can if you want… Just link your blog post containing a recap of last week, or the weekend, or your plans for this week…. or any bit of this and that you want to share with us!
Always a bit of an adjustment after a trip….
that doesn’t look at all like Spring planting weather! Yikes!
Good luck with your garden!
Yup, that hail definitely does not look conducive to gardening yet. 🙂
I’m curious as to what quiltalongs and sewalongs you’re starting.
haha, I had to laugh that you said you needed to remember what you were working on before you left…. it was quite the thing looking into my boxes and having to rediscover projects!
Hugz
Have fun finding your way back to where you left off! Good luck with your planting if the weather cooperates.
I love how organized you are!!! I, too, am a list maker and mostly I love crossing everything off the lists!!! Hope you have a wonderful week ahead. : )
Hail is definitely not a good thing when it comes to starting a garden. I still find it hard to wrap my head around the fact that you’re going into spring/summer and I’m looking out the window at the 6″ snowfall we got over the weekend.
