Our project for March’s One Gift A Month Challenge is a set of Round Quilted Pot Holders!
Now this is a project I’ve been meaning to make for many, many years now… it’s a tutorial from my bloggy and real life friend Lola from And Sew On... and because I haven’t made a set yet and I know she won’t mind, I’ve pinched her photo:
One Gift a Month Project List so far:
January ~ Scrappy Fabric Basket
Round Quilted Pot Holders
I’ve picked my fabric, and I found a circle die….
It’s an 8″ one, so a little bit smaller than the size Lola made, but it will do I think….
My Insul-bright is up on the top of a bookcase:
so I will need one of my tall men to help me get it down….
But other than that, I am ready to make a set or two!
Lola’s tutorial is very good, and has been very popular…
Oh, I am going to add a tag to mine…. so I can hang them up!

One Gift a Month Linky
I will include a linky for each month, just in case you are joining in and want to share your basket with us. Just link to the blog post you’ve shared your pic in… I will link my blog post with pics of my finished projects as well. The linky will be open all year, so you can link up at any time! If you make more than one, feel free to link up more times!
Please link to the actual blog post with a photo of the finished project!
If you are on Facebook, please join our group At Home With Joy to share your finished project, and if you are on Instagram please tag me and add the hashtag #onegiftamonth2023
I’d love to make these, but I have no idea where to get insulated batting in Ecuador! I’m thinking about trying out your tutorial for making “rags in the kitchen” now and then making potholders once I can get some insulated batting.
Pretty AND practical! What more do you want?! Great idea, thanks.
Always a welcome gift! Thanks, Joy.
I like this!! I think I might have some insul-bright tucked away somewhere so I might be able to make a few of these for putting in the Christmas box. Thank you!
Where would I find the circle template?
Thanks Joy! I used scraps of batting and Insul-Bright for my hot pads. Easy peasy, as promied.
