a bit of This and That
First of all, Happy Easter!! I hope you are having or have had a lovely weekend….
Last Week’s This and That
Last week disappeared and I do believe I didn’t even start up my laptop since I wrote last week’s Monday This and That!
My week was busy with work and family.. all of which was lovely 🙂
Work consisted of…
Making sausage rolls to put in the freezer:
Helping with meal prep is one of the things we do for our clients…
Going out for scones and tea at our favorite nursery:
And finishing up some wrist warmers which will be donated to the homeless:
Spending time with family consisted of more tea and brecky with my mum and sister:
And I did some crochet with my niece! We worked on some crochet zippy pouches.. I made this little one:
It was based on this YouTube tutorial.. It was my first time doing a crochet zippy pouch and the crochet star stitch… there are quite a few mistakes in it, but I’m still happy with it!
So you can see why I have neglected you and my poor blog… I do apologize!
This Week’s This and That
Back into routine!
This week I’ll be posting our next project for our One Gift a Month challenge… AND we’ll be starting the Spring Stitchalong! So stay tuned….!
Have you got a bit of This and That to share? Then join in!
You don’t need to have your post formatted the same way as I do, but you can if you want… Just link your blog post containing a recap of last week, or the weekend, or your plans for this week…. or any bit of this and that you want to share with us!

What is your sausage roll recipe? It looked good.
It looks like a great week, and family is more important than blogs any day. I see nothing wrong with your star stitching! The sausage rolls look great, and scones, yum! I’d like them orange-cranberry with a cup of spearmint herbal tea, please. LOL And your company!
Pretty tea settings-and fixings! The mitts are so colorful-all ready for you as you head into cooler weather! Nice to catch up with you!
I’m glad you’ve had time with your family & nice to work with your niece on something. Have a good week. Take care and hugs.
Your little pouch looks wonderful and I certainly don’t see any mistakes. As for neglecting your blog, what better reason than family and work!
Amazing how fast the week’s disappear isn’t it?? The fairy and I are currently at West Wyalong on the way to Scrub Stitching.
