I know.. yesterday block 3 of Teacup Critters was supposed to come out… but it hasn’t… But today I am playing catchup….
I must admit that going out to work has thrown me out of routine more than I expected. I tell you what – those of you who have been doing this for years (or all your lives) – I take my hat off to you!!
Yesterday I shoved aside the inserts I’m sewing for Sarah, and dragged all my bits and pieces out for the BOM:
I got baggies out and labeled to keep the half square triangles for later blocks so I don’t lose them…….
And I punched holes in the pattern so that I have that I don’t keep losing the pages…
So far our BOM looks like this:
and as you can see our next block will be a little brown bear 🙂
Blocks 1 and 2 are going to stay up for free until May 10th, so you have time to download them.
Today as I play catchup, I will need to start by moving the stuff in front of the left design wall:
So that I can lay out the other blocks and see where I want my “scrappy” pieces to go… I love scrappy quilts, but sometimes they do my head in because I get a bit obsessive about where to place the bits and pieces!
Ok, I’d better finish this post off and hopefully I’ll be back tonight posting the next block! It’s my day off today – I’ve done the dishes, I have lunch organized, dinner planned, and the sun is shining… off to the studio I go!
Yes, totally random is hard for me, too, when it comes to scrappy quilts!
Looking wonderful! You are so organized with all your pieces!
I love it.
I love how you bundled pieces in clear bags. I always do or the see thru boxes. The blocks on design wall really help to visualize the quilt.
I can imagine how much things have changed with work as well as keeping up with other committments… and you have building/renovations etc going on. I haven’t stitched the last block yet so I must get it out (it is traced)…

So great! Yes, working takes a lot of creative time! =) Thank you for this block.
Awww – such a cute wee bear! I’m with you in agonizing over colour choices and placement (one of the many reasons I’m not a sane quilter!).
