Welcome to Week 5 part 1 of our Christmas in July Mystery Quiltalong!

Ok, we’re going to sew all the blocks together today – and tomorrow we’re going to look at border options…
Here are all the blocks on my design wall ready to sew together:

Like I said last week, you could probably figure out how they were going together… simple but I think it is quite effective…
I’m half way through sewing them together… and I’ll be back tomorrow with my border thoughts!
Happy sewing!

I SOME HOW MISSED WEEK 4. IS IT TO LATE TO GET IT?
Go into Archives on the side bar and select July. You will find the post for Week 4 there.
It’s still there Linnie – https://www.daysfilledwithjoy.com/2023/07/31/christmas-in-july-mystery-quiltalong-week-3-2/
Very pretty! I like that it’s not the traditional Christmas colours.
I’m still way at the beginning, have only sewn the squares, but it’s something! Got this one, moving on to borders.
