Last Week’s this and That
I had a lovely week last week… mostly because we were off glamping for three nights!
Just before we went I started feeling a bit sick.. and sure enough, by the end of our three days away I had a full blown head cold. DH did say before we left that if I wasn’t up to going, we could stay home.. but I said if I’m getting sick I might as well be sick in the caravan and not at home where I feel like I need to be doing 101 things…
So, we both mostly relaxed… I did take some odds and ends with me to “work” on… Some hexies and my planner to plan September…
I got September planned and did a few hexies.. but mostly relaxed.
I would like to have a project that I just keep in the caravan so that I don’t need to think about it every time we go out… in fact, the whole idea of the van is to have it all packed up ready to go – so if on a Friday night we decide we want to go away for the weekend, we can just hook it up and go. So I need to think about what that project will be.
I took more photos and will do another post on our long weekend later this week. Right now I need to sleep….
This Week’s this and That
Not planning much this week – no to do list either since I am still sick… I am just going to potter around the house, do some stitching and hopefully be fully recovered by next week!
Have you got a bit of This and That to share? Then join in!
You don’t need to have your post formatted the same way as I do, but you can if you want… Just link your blog post containing a recap of last week, or the weekend, or your plans for this week…. or any bit of this and that you want to share with us!

I was a bit envious seeing the view from your tent. We gave up tent camping 30 years ago, but I’ve been thinking that maybe its time to re-think that. A raised cot with a thick padding for the sleeping bag for each of us (my knees are bad so can’t do ground!), a good tent with an area to sit (to do the hexies and/or hand quilting), but most of all, to GET AWAY. I’m so sorry you’re sick & hope you are feeling much better very soon. You’re doing the right thing – put all else off and take care of you!
Sorry to hear that you’ve been unwell Joy, but I’m pleased you still went camping and were able to relax and hopefully recover more quickly. It looks like a lovely camping spot!
Always love a camp site on the water. Those sites are hard to find. Sorry to hear you didn’t feel well.
Oh dear, I’m so sorry you’ve succumbed to a miserable cold. Hope you feel better soon!
Hope the cold improves quickly and the weekend was quite good here too weatherwise with lots of gardening done. I’ve done very little sewing recently and must get some time for it as it helps relax me. We got 18mls of rain last night and very grey again today. I’ll try and ring this week & have a chat. Take care & hugs.
Hoping your head cold is better soon. They can be miserable for sure. I usually get a bad one once a ear and then it’s over.
You have a beautiful view – we’ll have one like that later this week.
I’ve enjoyed your blog a lot. Found it through Pinkerpunkin.
Blessings, Donna
Sorry you’re not well, hope you feel better soon xx
