Just when I thought I was all better again, Vertigo hit yesterday and I’m out for the count again….
Today is supposed to be our One Gift a Month challenge day, but I’m postponing that till next Wednesday.. didn’t I say on Monday that I had a feeling that this week was going to be one of those weeks????
I can’t believe I’ve got vertigo again only two weeks after I was in hospital for the same thing. I still had some meds left so I’ve been taking them, and it’s not as bad as last time – this time I can actually sit up in my recliner….
I’ve been doing a bit of reading, and watching Asian Street Food videos on YouTube – I find them strangely addictive, must be because I grew up in Asia…. who knows! I am fascinated by the simple tools they use and the (sometimes) strange ingredients…
Since I need some sort of photo for this blog post and to give you something more interesting than my ongoing health problems, I’ve dug up a photo of something I was working on last month…
It deserves a whole post on its own and I will put it on my “to write” list… It’s a new knitting machine to make beanies (knitted hats) with.. and I did finish one, but it needs some tweaking…
Ok, I’m too dizzy to say anything more… too dizzy to use the knitting machine too sadly, otherwise that would be a good thing to do while I’m sitting here feeling sorry for myself….
Till Friday for the next step in our Summer SAL…..
Joy, I pray that you feel better soon and this vertigo is gone for good. You’ve probably read all about it and tried different things to get rid of it. I know it can be really frustrating when nothing seems to work. Maybe another call to your doctor. He or she might have some ideas for you.
Blessings, Donna
I am a follower from Canada and feel for you and the vertigo. A very close friend had it a couple of years ago. After medication which seemed to make it worse someone suggested a Chiropractor. She began seeing one and after a few visit she was fine and has not had a recurrence. It is worth a try if you have one nearby.
Hope you get relief soon.
So sorry to hear that the vertigo has attacked again!!!!
The Sentro hats are wonderful fun! Some yarns are just miseries to use with the machines, though, so find one that works! (Soft worsted weight #4 works best! and DK works well for scarves, etc!)
Oh no…. hope you get over the vertigo quickly….. I’m looking forward to hearing more about your little machine ……

Glad I got to speak to you yesterday and now realise what is happening, so take it one day at a time and hope it eventually sorts out soon. I’m hoping this comment actually shows up as I’m on the PC this time. Take care & hugs.
Hope you are feeling better soon.
I’m so sorry, Joy! Glad it isn’t as bad as last time, but still . . . Hope you recover quickly. That knitting machine looks interesting.
I’m so sorry that you’re suffering again – hopefully this will be the last and the medical pros can hopefully come up with a reason for it. Take care of you.
